These terms cover this site and work with Brendan Callanan trading as BCQStudios. An engagement can set different terms in writing. If it does, those win.
Site
This site describes the studio. It is not a quote or a contract.
Work
Work starts when we both agree the scope, fee, and timing in writing. Email is enough. Until then, conversations are exploratory.
We deliver the agreed scope. That can be a platform, a product, or a defined slice of either, not ongoing support, unless we agree otherwise.
Invoices are due as written. Unpaid or expanding work can pause until we reset the agreement.
Ownership
You keep what you already own and grant us a licence to use what you send so we can do the work. On full payment, you own the deliverables we make for you, except tools, libraries, and patterns we already use or reuse. We may mention the engagement unless you ask us not to.
Limits
Delivered work is warranted only as agreed in writing. Our liability for an engagement is limited to the fees you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Irish law applies.
Changes
We may update these terms. An active engagement keeps what we agreed in writing.
